Hello Everyone!!!! Today I would love to share with you another great challenge from
Peachy Keen Stamps. For this challenge we had to follow a sketch but there is a twist to it. The twist is that you have to cut out and pop up your stamped image. How stinkin' cute is this adorable little boy?? I just want to pinch his chubby little cheecks. PK-790 Boogie Board Max. What made me laugh is when I went to the PKS website to get the link info I realized that I colored him almost exactly the same colors as he was on the package without even realizing it!! I picked my papers first and then colored him to match the paper. As you know I hate wasting anything. I had this little strip of paper that I had cut from the DP and simply flipped it over and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the SY-901 Hillbilly Holler Set 2. To ink it up I used Tim Holtz Vintage photo on the edges of well...practically everything. Max is cut out and popped up with some foam tape. I hope you "Pop in" and play along with us this week!!
How brilliant is this card!! I'm just in love with your sand dunes!! I would NEVER have thought of doing that. You clever girl you!! LOVE his surfboard with that flash of gold! Your project is just SO cool dude!! Ha Ha!

Lisa your card is wonderful! I almost chose this stamp too! I was going to have waves at his feet. I actually made a different card with the pig and feed sack, but it was too similar to a card I had made for a different pk challenge. Hope you get a break from all your cooking and have some playtime for yourself. I just received my MSS that I ordered and cant wait to play! I love all the projects you made with MSS. Congrats on winning!
