Hello Everyone! As you all know there has been major issues with Blogger being down so this post is a bit late.
Peachy Keen Stamps has two design teams. The team that does the Friday challenges uses only PKS face stamps on their projects. Well I decided to play along with their challenge this week since it sounded like sooooo much fun. I had so many stinkin' ideas I just didn't have the time to do them all in.
My hubby is forever getting at me for my organizational skills or shall I say lack of them. So when I saw that the challenge this week was to make something to help you or your family get organized I jumped right on in.
Here I made a desk top organizer to help me in that department and to also help prevent the build-up of bills, papers and my coupons. I started out with a box of tissues and covered it in paper from October afternoon. I went with the design on the paper and kept it that theme. I used the pear and apple from the Preserves cartridge and the radish was from Freshly Picked. I took the DP scraps and used my nesties to cut out some matting. For the faces on the fruit I used PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment.
I also just got the new Market Street Woodgrain background stamp. That stamp gave it exactly the look I wanted. I glued some things down wrong but since I used hot glue there is nothing I can do about it so I have to live with it.
I hope you enjoy my organizer and I hope you take the time to play along with us this week.
