About Me
- Lisa B
- Carlisle, Pennsylvania
- I am a stay at home mom..now that is! February 19th, 2007 I was involved in a car accident while on vacation in Florida. I awoke in ICU to find out that my only two children Annemarie age 3 and Michael age 5 did not make it. Scrapbooking became such a big part of my life. It helped fill a void that I desperately needed to fill. Our therapist suggested that I take up scrapbooking as a way to memorialize my children, little did she know! So I took that and ran with it.I became obsessed with scrapping and took over the second largest room in my house. Because of my injuries I couldn't go out and get a job, I just scrapped!I printed out 2,000 photos and my journey began. I have made albums for family members and layouts to decorate my craft room. We thought we were done having kids but who expected this tragedy??? I just gave birth in June 2009 to two beautiful baby girls Mia Anne and Gianna Marie named after their brother and sister.I swore that I would keep up with their albums so I won't become overwhelmed so we will see how that works out! My profile picture is the last family picture that was taken of all of us.

Santa & Rudolph Large Gift Bag
This bag measures over 10" tall so it is quite large making it perfect for holiday gifts or baked goods. The image I used is from Doodle Palace. You can even have your little one put their wish list in it to send to Santa! I tried my best to photograph all of the dimension on the bag but as well as being "bow" challenged I am also camera challenged at times also!
I had so much fun with this one. I cut out Santa & Rudolph and then cut Rudolph separate from Santa. I mounted him with pop dots for dimension. I colored them both with my Prismacolor pencils, accented them with Stickles, glitter, and liquid applique. The snowflake in the corner has 4 layers, each popped up with mounting dots. I gave Rudolph a little gold bell around his neck.
The bag is cut from Cricut Plantin Schoolbook using my 12X24 mat and the fit to page feature. Snowflake is from Cricut's new cartridge Winter Woodland.
I used this bag for Stamptacular Sunday's Anything but a card challenge.

Lisa- this is TOO cute. Love the image and can't wait to see the rest of the new releases. Your coloring is great and I love the extra snowflakes. BTW I think your bow looks perfect but for those of us who are seriously bow challenged I recommend the Bow Easy. It's only about $6 and it makes perfect bows. Now I can't stop using bows on my cards..it's kind of a problem... :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, GREAT bag!
Lovely bag!!
