I am a stay at home mom..now that is! February 19th, 2007 I was involved in a car accident while on vacation in Florida. I awoke in ICU to find out that my only two children Annemarie age 3 and Michael age 5 did not make it. Scrapbooking became such a big part of my life. It helped fill a void that I desperately needed to fill. Our therapist suggested that I take up scrapbooking as a way to memorialize my children, little did she know! So I took that and ran with it.I became obsessed with scrapping and took over the second largest room in my house. Because of my injuries I couldn't go out and get a job, I just scrapped!I printed out 2,000 photos and my journey began. I have made albums for family members and layouts to decorate my craft room. We thought we were done having kids but who expected this tragedy??? I just gave birth in June 2009 to two beautiful baby girls Mia Anne and Gianna Marie named after their brother and sister.I swore that I would keep up with their albums so I won't become overwhelmed so we will see how that works out! My profile picture is the last family picture that was taken of all of us.

My Little Space Boy


I had fun with this one! This adorable little space boy is from Pink Poison and the papers are Basic Grey. I tried to use colors that I normally wouldn't use. Unfortunately my darn cutter does not know how to cut a straight line...I don't get it???????

I wanted to put something like "I hope your birthday is Out of this World" but good ol' Lisa...I cut out everything and get ahead of myself. Then I realize nothing will fit! Oh well :(

    Love the papers and the image is just so darn cute! I'm cracking up at your cutter not cutting straight lines AND the fact that you put everything together and then realize you don't have room for the sentiment you wanted...it was like I was reading about myself because both of those things happen to me all the time!! :)Great job on the card!

    lol, this is a funny post Lisa, this sooooo sounds like my cardmaking everyday! Sometimes I don't noticed what I did until I look my post picture! lol
    But this card is absolutely wonderful!!!! I love the space theme and that little guy is adorable!!!!

    I LOVE HIM!! That is adorable. I have cutter issues, too. One day I'll invest in one of those guillotine ones - but for now my cheapy's gonna have to do (crooked lines'n all)

    oh lisa, this card is perfection... the paper goes perfect w/ the image and that ribbon... common nothing says outer space more than silver ribbon!!!!!
