Hello Everyone! I am so sorry that I have not been posting and just kinda left everyone hanging. My littlest twin has been sick with 103 fever among other things so I have been a complete wreck. Considering what I have been thru in the past I have been in melt down status. She is finally coming around and feeling better but now I am dealing with teething times two and very little sleep!
I haven't been in my craft room for weeks and I am very far behind. I apologize for leaving several commenters/prize winners hanging but today is my first day back in the craft room and I am trying to play catch up so please bare with me.
During the Peachy Keen blog hop we released the new awesome Cottage Cutz dies by
The Scrapping Cottage and Peachy Keen Stamps. I had people leave comments and give me ideas what to make with the new dies. Well I randomly picked comments and created a few projects with them and it was fun. Well this week over at Peachy Keen Stamps there is a sketch challenge. I randomly picked this comment and tried my best to incorporate it into the sketch. I gotta say it was a hard one to try to put together but I somehow managed it.
This is the comment I picked:

Oh Lisa, all your designs are just too cute, love those yummy little gingerbread men and love the tags. Also love the penguins and the igloo, what a great idea for a card. I just love all of these dies but my all time fave is the froggie, I guess you can guess why. LOL Since I collect froggies, (have for most of my life, LOL) and we have Cows could you do something with the two of them. We have a small farm so you could throw in the flowers also since we have alot of wildflowers around here too, Hee Hee. Sorry to hear of your health issues and hope your feeling better soon. Take Care, Thanks and good luck to all!
Froggie ((Hugs)) Theresa
I laughed because I love frogs also. When my daughter Gianna was born she had these big ol' eyeballs for such a tiny little thing that she was. So ever since then she had the nick name of Froggie and has everything froggie. As she grew older she grew into her eyes but the nick name stuck.
This is what I came up with for this weeks challenge:

I LOVE how this turned out! I'm so sorry to hear about your baby being sick. I'm glad she is doing better. That is always scary. Good luck with the teething, it is hard enough with one baby teething... but two... wow.

ReplyDeleteYou did an AWESOME job my friend!! ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteBig Peachy Hugs,

I am so glad to hear your babies are feeling a little better. The teething gets better as you know. What worked for my kids was Humphries, cold teething rings and wet rags (with my daughter) that she could chew on.

ReplyDeleteYou must have the constitution of an OX my friend!! I sincerely hope that little legs is on the mend now and that her fever had diminished. Teething times 2 must be a trial, but it WILL end my darling and all will be well. You have my total admiration! Lots of love, Viv xxx

Lisa, you did a wonderful job pairing up those dies. This is such a cute scene, and very well done! I'm glad your little princess is feeling better. Now, you need to try and find some time for rest, my friend! Even with so much worry and lack of sleep, you managed to pull together an amazing card! Great job, and big hugs to you and your babies!
