Create a Scene Linky Party over at CDD

Good morning y'all!  Have you seen this adorable stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas??? 

OMG it is sooooo cute! The stamp set is called ADVENTURE AWAITS, there is also another set that coordinates with it called ADVENTURE LAND.  

 I just had to create something with that adorable Wizard.  I love these adorable images. It was perfect for the new linky party that starts today over at the CDD Blog. To create my scene I used the Wizard and some of the sentiment from Adventure Awaits and a few of the elements from Adventure Land.  The "wishing you" sentiment came from WISHFUL THOUGHTS.

This is the final outcome of my card.  I added a few stars from the POCKET PIECES HELLO die set.

Craftin' Desert Divas Daily Post

Good morning y'all! I am here today with you all to share my project I created for my Daily Post over at Craftin' Desert Divas.  I couldn't wait to color up these gorgeous flowers from the FLOWERS IN BLOOM stamp set.

 I stamped my main center flower then masked it off with some Post-It note paper in order to get the flowers on the side to look like they were behind them.  After coloring them up I used the larger die from the FANCY STITCHED LABEL die set.  I embossed some vellum for the matting of the image because I wanted to keep it a soft and simple look.  To finish it all off I used the SORRY die from WISHFUL THOUGHTS die set.

Here's what I've created for you...

When I saw the cactus set for some reason the first thing that popped into my head was a desert sunset of sorts. I achieved the sky with some of my Tim Holtz distress markers and free handed the desert sand. I paper pieced the cactus and flower on the front. The sentiment came from THIS & THAT and the Cactus w/flower came from the Prickly set. To finish off the edges I used my Fancy Frames die set. My mission was to keep this plain and let the image be the "star". lol

Good morning y'all! Today starts another linky party over at Craftin' Desert Divas.  The theme is "FOODIE".  I made this card for that Coffee Lover, you know everyone has one of those in our lives! LOL

I used the GOT COFFEE stamp set and masked the coffee cup and then stamped the bag of coffee over it.  I wanted the beans to come from behind the cup.  To mat the image I used my Fancy Frame dies, love that stitched border! Next I spritzed some Tim Holtz Distress Markers with my Spritzer tool to create the background.  I wanted a CAS card of sorts.
